The cheerleading coach will perform the responsibilities directed by the Associate VP for Athletics andCampus Wellness. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the coordination of the practices, competition organization, recruiting, fundraising and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications: Cheerleading Coach

• Previous collegiate or high school cheerleading and/or coaching experience is required
• Commitment to the philosophy of University of Indianapolis
• Quality writing and speaking skills and interpersonal skills
• Bachelor's degree
• CPR certification

Responsibilities: Cheerleading Coach

• Instruct and coach student athletes in the sport as well as sport-related topics
• Recruit and retain student participants
• Schedule, organize, and conduct practices and competitions
• Oversee and support student athletes' academic progress
• Assist in administrating the program's budget
• Participate in and assist with fundraising activities
• Run all aspects of collegiate cheerleading program
• Demonstrate respectful, ethical, and responsible behavior
